Hi,

Maintenance of a healthy lifestyle is a vital point in the management of PCOD. As any hormone treatment has its own side effects, you have to choose the better option considering your clinical situation. Please discuss with your consultant if you do not wish to continue with the prescribed medication and go for an alternative that suits better. Maintain a proper diet, avoid stress and avoid weight disturbances.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam, OBGYN
