Suggest Treatment For PCOS Causing Irregular Periods

HIII I am raghvi from jammu. I am unmarried. I diagnosed with pcos in 2012. I had taken medicines to regulate my menses.But still my menses are not regular. I just want to know how long pcos stay. wheather they correct or not . what is the cause of this.Does we correct them naturally.

PCOS is complex disease. Various factor like genetic and family predisposition, metabolic factor-insulin resistance and hormonal dysfunction-increase in male hormone, ovarian dysfunction due to hormonal imbalance.

Course of disease is very irregular and unpredictable.
No such duration of treatment.
It varies from person to person to treat the PCOS.

Main aim of metformin treatment is regularize the cycle, maintain glucose homeostasis and induction of ovulation.

Folowing drugs should be taken under the advice of gynecologist
Metformin: for maintain glucose homeostasis and weight, induce ovulation
Oral contraceptive pills: regular the menstrual cycle. Should be taken for 6 months.
Clomiphene citrate: induce ovulation and maintain fertility
Spironolactone and fulatamide: diuretic action and induce ovulation
Infertility problem should be treated by :FSH hormone or FSH analogue and
In vitro fertilization

Surgical process: If not responds to medical treatment surgery like ovarian dreeling can be used

Start regular exercise for 45-60 minutes in the morning.reduction in 10 percent weight helpful to induce ovulation and regularize the period.
Diet: take small frequent meal rather large meal
Avoid fatty/spicy/salty foods
Avoid excessive sweets
