General & Family Physician 's  Response
hi...regular exercise , lowering weight , diet modification will help you.
if you have ireegular or unovulatory cycle use BIRTH CONTROL PILLs..
using of tablet metformin is also useful..single a day
in some cases prednisolone also given.
monitor regular blood level of FSH , LH , CHOLESTEROLE..BLOOD GLUCOSE etc.
so multiple approch for PCOD..
so my openion to consult endocrinologist or gynecologist is worth to have..
take care
