Hello, my name is Dr.Dorina Gurabardhi. I understand your concern. Treatment for hepatitis B include: 1)Antiviral medications. Several antiviral medications, including lamivudine (Epivir), adefovir (Hepsera), telbivudine (Tyzeka) and entecavir (Baraclude) — can help fight the virus and slow its ability to damage your liver. 2)Interferon alfa-2b (Intron A). This synthetic version of a substance produced by the body to fight infection is used mainly for young people with hepatitis B.It's given by injection. 3)Liver transplant. If your liver has been severely damaged, a liver transplant may be an option. Of course for the treatment you should consult a gastrologyst . Hope my answer was helpful, if you have any other questions I'll be glad to help, thanks!
