Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
Scalp psoriasis is a chronic condition which has relapses and remissions.
You should not use propysalic lotion on a long term basis as it could lead to steroid induced skin thinning and whitish depigmentation.
You could use it only when the lesions are severe for 10-14 days.
As maintenance, use a shampoo containing coat tar and salicylic acid. Allow it to stay in contact with the scalp for 10 minutes and wash it off. Use on alternate days.
You could also use lotion containing Calcipotriol at bedtime for maintenance.
Hope this helps you.
Take care.
