Suggest Tests To Diagnose Intermittent Knee Pain

Hello,I am experiencing knee pain that comes and goes. It is worse with kneeling, bending stairs and is typically under the knee cap. At times there is no pain at all. I checked into having an MRI and with my insurance the imaging center Walters $1400. Is there any other option to determine theronlem and heal the effected knee

Hello. Understanding your concern. As per your question about knee pain you can go for an xray to rule out any degenerative changes in the joints .Some information needs to be provided by you like your age,are you a female and did you got any injury in your knee? And treatment can be planned out accordingly.lf Xray or MRI are not revealing any confirmation then blood test can be done to find out arthritis factor.I would suggest you to go in a physiotherapy centre. It will surely help you.But if pain persist you should consult a orthopaedics doctor.
