Suggest Tests To Determine STD In An Earlier Stage

I ve been looking up STD panel tests online. It seems the ideal test period is around 2-3 weeks after the potential incident? It has only been 5 days, but I want to be certain that I m not missing an opportunity to react quickly and aide early-treatment. Is there anything I can or should do for the next week and a half before I get tested?
