Suggest Substitute For Nexium
I have taken Nexium for several years. My health insurance stopped paying for it, several years ago and I was getting the Nexium from AZ & Me. Last year I started drawing my Social Security so I didn t meet the criteria to continuing getting it free. I called Nexium Direct and they told me that it was going to cost me $175.00/mo from them. My question is what are the other medications, not over the counter, that are as good as Nexium. It has been a life-saver for me and I tried lots of other medications before my doctor tried me on Nexium.

Esomeprazole((brand name Nexium) is a proton pump inhibitor(PPI).
Other equally effective PPIs are pantoprazole,rabeprazole,lansoprazole.
