Suggest Solution To Remove The Debris From Eyes

I had cataract surgery five weeks ago and my cataract, I was told was quite severe. I had a detached retina 15 years ago and had a buckle placed to secure my retina. After the cataract surgery, I was told that my retina was extremely swollen and that is what is causing my pain. The doctors told me that due to the swelling, I was seeing the back of my retina when I look up to put drops in my eye; however, I now believe that what I am seeing is a dime size piece of cataract floating around in my eye. What can be done to remove the debris from my eye as I am still having pain in the eye and my eye constantly waters. Please advise.

Hi !
It appears that yours is not a simple case.remain in touch with the already treating surgeon.
A piece of cataract is not expected to be there. May be because of bad retina you are having few unusual symptom.
In such case I will advise to use some N's aid eye drops twice a day. May give some relief.
Thank you.
