Hi,

Telvas H contains both telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide which helps to control high blood pressure. Generally, it is used when one medicine alone cannot control blood pressure effectively. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce your risk of having of a heart attack or a stroke in the future. It may cause ankle edema or pedal swelling.

Other side effects of Telvas H are fatigue, dizziness, nausea, diarrhea, sinus inflammation, flu like symptoms, respiratory tract infections, increased urination, abdominal and stomach pain, dry mouth, joint pain, stiffness, cramping, chest pain, changes in vision, dizziness, painful urination, increased heart rate, headache, back pain, weakness, muscle pain, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then you should consult your doctor promptly for medical attention. Before start or stop taking this medication, you should inform your doctor.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
