Hi,I am Dr. Alexander H. Sheppe (Psychiatrist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am male about 60 years. I am a visitor with travel insurance. I see a slight swelling on the left side groin area. It has been there for the last 10 days. More prominent while standing. There is no pain but a feeling of tenderness in the swollen area as well as at the upper left thigh. Occasionally, especially after being on my feet for about an hour, there is burning sensation in the upper left thigh.
Hi, From history it seems that you might be having direct inguinal hernia (bubonocele ) giving this typical appearance while standing position. Consult surgeon and get examined. Avoid constipation and cough reflex. Ok and take care.
