Suggest Remedy For Severe Pain In Right Side Post Treatment For Nurofen Plus Overdose

I overdosed on neurfoen plus Tuesday gone I took 50 of them and ended up in the hospital, I was released the next day . But ever since I ve a really bad pain in my right side , can you tell me if I need to go to the doctors again, they only took blood from me and nothing else.

Welcome to health care magic,Here, I would like to ask some more information.

Is there any redness or swelling around your right side?

It could be due to some IM injections or intravenous blood collection or due to extravasation of blood in the tissues.

Intramuscular injection are painful sometimes; but the inflammation and pain that follows gets subsided by proper care.

You can apply ice cube and local pain reliever ointment (like diclofenac) over the site of injection frequently in a day.

Take over the counter pain killers like Tylenol after meal.

It may take 3 to 4 days to get better but if there is bluish discoloration over skin or developing abscess then I would advice you to see doctor for proper examination and treatment.
