Hello, I have had recent surgery to remove an ovarian cyst on my right ovary and the pain was better for about 2 days. it is now returning worst than before though and I have no idea what to do. my mom says wait until my follow up appointment but im in severe pain
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Severe pain 2 days after the cyst removal can be due to infection, any haemorrhage or inadvertent ligation of any nerve or artery. You need to get properly examined and investigated to confirm the cause. I would suggest you to consult your operating surgeon as soon as possible so that you can be properly treated and any complication is avoided. Hope you found the answer helpful. Wishing you good health. Dr Deepti Verma
