Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi Prasunjeet,
Depression is a common disorder and can occur to anyone. It would have been better if you would have mentioned other symptoms you might have been suffering from. I would suggest you to consult a local psychiatrist at the earliest. Start exercising on a daily basis. Had I been your psychiatrist, I would have gone through the details of your symptoms and according would have offered treatment with an anti-depressant like escitalopram or sertraline. With medications, the response rate to treatment is quite good. So, go ahead and consult a local psychiatrist. Wish you speedy recovery.
