Suggest Remedy For Recurring Scab On The Outer Ear
My sister sometimes will develope a scab on her outer ear. The ear will feel hot and sore as if she slept on it wrong. A scab will appear then over a period of time the scab will fall off. Eventually it re-occurs and the process repeats. She is seeing a doctor soon but is worried.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have recurring scab on the outer ear which seems to be due to seborrheic dermatitis. It could be due to allergic reaction, avascular cartilage and otitis externa. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should get complete examination done and start treatment after proper diagnosis. You should take antibiotics along with anti-inflammatory medications. Apply topical steroid cream on it. Apply petroleum jelly with the help of cotton. You can go for surgical removal of scar as well.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
