Hi,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

First of I really appreciate your decision to quit smoking. For any de addiction first and foremost thing is the will of person to get rid of the addiction and you have that.

Yes there are medicines which will help you to quit smoking.
Bupropion sustain release 150 mg to start with help you to reduce withdrawal and craving for smoking. Simultaneously propranolol and benzodiaepines like alprazolam or clonazepam or etizolam should be given to curtail withdrawal and easy stopping. If constipation is there ,laxative may be needed.

Initially all medicines needed for a week or 10 days depending upon frequency and duration of smoking. gGradually all medicines can be decreased and stopped in 20 days except bupropion which can be stopped after a month or two depending upon severity of withdrawal and intake if substance in past.

For this you need to consult a psychiatrist/de addiction specialist.
All the best.

Hope I have answered your query.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
