Suggest Remedy For Pus And Blood Discharge From Boil On Surgery Scar

Hi iv had a boil on my section scar for a couple of months now it burs a couple a weeks ago i thought it was gone till this morning it was wet under there i checked and its still there and open what should i do since iv wiped it clean this morning it wont stop bleeding. Thank you for reading

Hi,

Thanks for your question.

After going through your question there might be wound infection at incision site.

You can use oral antibiotic like amoxicillin + clavulunic acid for 5 days along with anti-inflammatory medicine along with dressing with neosporin powder.

If it is not healing even after 5 days or there is fever or pus discharge consult your doctor for examination.
There may be need for wound swab for pus culture and sensitive.
