Suggest Remedy For Pressure Sensation In Head And Ringing In Ears

I have frequent optic migraines causing temporary prismatic vision, today I have suddenly developed a lasting pressure-like feeling and slight ringing in my ears and pressure-like sensation through my head between the ears. Is it possible that this something similar to the optical migraines that instead effect my hearing and producing these sensations?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pressure sensation in head and ringing in ears. Well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as meniere's disease that affects inner ear. It could be due to improper fluid drainage, perhaps because of a blockage or anatomic abnormality , abnormal immune response , allergies and viral infection. Need not to worry. Avoid touching or pricking ear with sharp object. Do warm ear compresses. Put otogesic ear drops. Do warm saline gargles. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis and to rule out cause like hypoglycemia . Doctor may order videonystagmography , rotary-chair testing , CT scan and MRI . Doctor may recommend hearing aid , meniett device , antibiotics , steroids or anti emetic drug .
