Abnormality

What is Abnormality ?

A more discerning criterion is distress. A person who is displaying a great deal of depression, anxiety, unhappiness, etc. would be thought of as exhibiting abnormal behavior because their own behavior distresses them. Unfortunately, many people are not aware of their own mental state, and while they may benefit from help, they feel no compulsion to receive it.

Hello. I was just in a car accident because I passed out at the wheel and collided with another car. No one was injured. I was taken to the hospital and they performed an EKG, which showed a right bundle branch block repeatedly. They released me later as I promised to see my primary and I still had the same abnormality. I also have poly cystic ovarian syndrome and I was wondering if it is connected to this new heart problem.

doctor1 MD

Dear sir / Madam
Welcome to HCmagic.
A right bundle branch block (isolated, with no other abnormality on EKG) is an electrical variant present in EKG. This may or may not be associated with a structural or functional heart abnormality. More commonly it is a normal variant.
If your clinical...

Looking for a doctor in Panama City Fl who can diagnose dementia . My mother is in a behavioral hospital at this time (against her will) but now even unaware we had her put there. EEG , MRI and blood work normal. Psychaiatrist says there s some confusion. Well, 3 out of 3 conversations have been totally confused throughout

doctor1 MD

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Dementia can be diagnosed by a GP or a psychiatrist. The blood work and imaging would rule out any structural lesions , electrolyte or biochemical abnormality/deficiency or infection as the cause of her confusion.

To find another psychiatrist to determine if...

I have a sharp pain on the right side of my chest and worsens when I breathe deep. Also worsens if I lay on my left side. It started with some pain on Monday ,a little worse Tuesday and excruciating on Wednesday. It was so painful it woke me up from a deep sleep Wed morning. I went to the ER but nothing was found on the X-ray and morphine only lessened the pain but didn't take it away. Any thoughts.

doctor1 MD

HI,
Your symptomatology suggests underlying pleural infection or musculoskeletal pain. What I feel is you must go for a chest CT scan to have an idea of lung and pleural pathologies especially pulmonary embolism as well as gross musculoskeletal abnormality.
You must go for ECG to rule out cardiac...

Hi. I had a urinalysis yesterday with no infection but some blood in my urine. I had stabbing pain yesteday on my right side on back that eventually went away. The walkin clinic gave me Levaquin 750 that I started yesterday. Also, Tramadol for pain. I had Pyelneohritis 3 years ago due to my right ureter being completely blocked. I had a cystoscopy with ureteroscopy then and they put a temporary stent in for 10 days. I have had no problems until now. Not sure if pyelonephritis or passing a kidney stone. Not sure what to do now. I currently don't have health insurance, so I haven't been to the ER or a doctor yet. Please advise. Thank you

hi.. thanks for using HCM..
you have the past history of pyelonephritis which was treated with stent..
now you have intense pain in the back, and hematuria followed by this..
severe pain goes in favour of renal stone and probably you have passed it, causing excoriation in the ureter which caused...
