I've had left side pain for many years that has gotten progressively worse. I recently had Motility testing in NYC and was told that my Transverse Colon is not having movement in the mid section. I can't sleep at night. My children do not want me to be cut and have surgery. They say that I should try different medications. I have been on a couple but in the meantime I hardly move my bowels and I have these hugh veins popping out in my stomach and groin and down my inner thighs. I feel as if I was hooked up to an air pump for a car and filled with tons of air.I want to stay on this medicine regime but feel as though something bad will happen. How long can I wait with this? Everyone has an opinion but I am the one living with the chronic pain and discomfort.
