Suggest Remedy For Persistent Cough And Congestion

my 3.5 years old twin daughters have this cough and congestion for 5 weeks now. The cough is less frequent now. they cough more at night and in the morning. they don't have fever and they act normal. they don't have any allergies or any other allergy symptoms. i am concern the persistent cough and congestion.

Commonest cause of persistent night time coughing is allergy.There is no investigation to diagnose it.It is clinical diagnosis. You can investigate to rule out other possibilities such as mycoplasm,tuberculosis, foreign body aspirations ,eosinophilia,GER,cardiac problems.
Treatment of allergy is antiallergy medicine like fexofenadine and leukotriene inhibitors given for a longer time and allergy avoidance by
.no smoke at home
.no soft toys
.air conditioner use
.vaccum cleaning of mattresses
.changing bedsheets daily
.no chips chocolate biscuits
