Suggest Remedy For Painful Red Blotch On Leg

Last night I discovered a red blotch on my lower leg with burning pain and warm to the touch. I do have vascular issues. but haven t had any in a long time. Friday night I woke up with what I thought was a Charlie horse on the inside of my right leg. it was bad and had to walk around for awhile. then last night discovered the red blotch with burning pain and sore to touch.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
I feel it might be contact dermatitis or heat rash. But a closer examination is required.

Presently I would suggest you to avoid touching it, wash the affected area with cool water and dermadew soap and tap it dry. Ice bags or cool wet compresses may be helpful . I would suggest you to apply calamine lotion with alovera, it will produce soothing effect. If this doesn't help you may require typical steroid cream, but I would recommend you to see dermatologist for examination.

Hope this helps
