Suggest Remedy For Pain In Mons Pubis

When play with my girl friend and I move my hand down below her navel and on her Mons pubis, she tells me how she experiences pain in the mons pubis after her having her menses. She said the looks like she wants to urinate. What is wrong in that region of her body?

Hello,

I can understand your concern. Unfortunately, the pelvic area of a female feels many unpleasant changes during and immediately after menstruation. The pH of the vaginal area including Mons Pubis changes and the area becomes much more sensitive than it usually is. If she feels pain only during menstruation and not in other days, she should not be worried about that.

However, if she feels pain in routine days and the area is always sore to touch, it should be examined by a gynecologist for presence of any lesion or infection.

I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
