Suggest Remedy For Myoclonic Jerks

I have been having random myoclonic jerks during the day, usually during the morning or at night, but sometimes in the middle of the day when I am completely awake. I have panic disorder, and sometimes I panic until the attack ends with a myoclonic jerk. I get a strange feeling in my eyes and they black out for a second, and my upper body twitches, but I am still conscious when it happens. Could Prozac be causing this?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for your question.
Symptoms you described are seemed like simple partial seizures.
Panic disorder itself can causes seizures.

As per my knowledge Prozac rarely causes seizures in some people.

You need not to worry.
I suggest you to continue your medication.

If your are having these symptoms again ,then you need to consult your doctor.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any question I will be happy to help you.
Thank you.
