Hi Maám welcome to HCM,
Well seems like you've hit your head pretty hard , just need a few details :
How long is it since You've been hit?
Did you recollect all the things since you've been hit??
Are you feeling drowsy/feeling like throwing up??
Are there any discharge(clear watery/bloody) from Nose/Ear(don't panic as these are some of the symptoms people experience generally either together or sometimes isolated, after any traumatic
head injury)
You've mentioned shortly after being hit you took a nap which is really unusual as it seems like you just might been passed out for a while(again no need to panic as its also commonly encountered after traumatic head injury )
Now comes the real concern-- Sore Left Eye Socket with a bloodshot shot eye(I hope the right eye has no problem since you hvn't mentioned anything about it)- can you please check again and tell me if your Left eye is bloodshot and there's any redness/ blackening around the left eye socket also??(Black eye otherwise known as Racoon Eye happens due to
Fracture of the Base of the skull)
This
eye injury usually looks worse than it really is. Its also known as
SubConjunctival Hemorrhage which involves leakage of blood from one or more breaks in a blood vessel that lies between the white Part of the eye (sclera) and its clear covering (conjunctiva). Subconjunctival Hemorrhages are quite common and can occur from even minor injury to the eye. They may be limited to a small sector of the eye, or they can extend over the entire eye, making the white sclera appear bright red. It also generally gets resolve on its own over a period of few weeks.
That being said I need you to check again for your vision (not just the clarity but the accuracy also) put your right hand over your right eye and try to look around with your Left eye and then repeat the same for your Left Eye also . also put some Ice bag compression(if unavailable a bag of Frozen Peas will do) over your Left eye that'll help.
Also please try to avoid any activities which can put any strain to your nose/ear/eye i.e Don't blow your nose/avoid sneezing/coughing forcefully/Don't rub the eyes
Meanwhile regardless of the duration its still advisable to pay a visit to your nearest ER (even if its more than 24hrs) or Neurosurgeon and to get a CT-Scan Done at the earliest
Thanks a lot for contacting HCM, hope to see you again with better updates
