Suggest Remedy For Loose Motion In Infants

my 3 month old suffering from loose motion since 7 days. he was passing green water stool for 8 to 10 times.dr gave him norfloxacin and racecadotril for 5 days. but no improvement. now he is on enterogermina.now his stools are yellow and watery and passing 6 - 7 times... other wise when healthy he used to pass once in 3 days... i am very much worried.pl help

Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

Based on what you refer loose motion is caused by bacteria. Your child is dehydrated due to diarrhea and he need an intravenous rehydration. To do this you should take him immediately to the Emergency Room.

A stool culture, a complete blood count and an urine test are necessary for the diagnosis.
