Suggest Remedy For Irregular Menstruation

Hi...I am 26 and diagnosed thyorid level of about 6.5 so taking follic acid & thyroxine tablets for the past 1 month. My last period started on 25th Nov and lasted for 3 days..I had spotting on 12th Dec..Now Jan 4th till now I had no periods..I did home pregnancy test today but it was negative. i usually have regular periods..Now its almost 12 days late ..I m worried ..a better suggestion would help me..I have doubt whether thyroxine will delay periods if so how long?

Hi,

The imbalances of thyroid glad can cause period irregularities. Thyroid dysfunction is associated with delayed periods, lower flux and spotting. The delay in period you are experiencing is from taking thyroxine and it will soon get better when your body gets used to it.
