Suggest Remedy For Irregular Menstruation

I never had acne anywhere other than my forehead for years, but lately I have been breaking out on my back and chest. I m a 21 year old female, and for the past year my menstrual cycles have been both unpredictable and debilitating. They have also been surprisingly frequent (sometimes I start a cycle only ten days after finishing my previous one), to the point of having two in one month. Why could this be happening, and could the upheaval in my hormones be connected to the acne on my back and chest? I eat healthily, drink plenty of water and get enough sleep every night. I ve also been taking vitamin and mineral supplements (B12, C and Zinc) in an attempt to regulate both my cycles and my skin issues. Any answers are greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Your acne issue is directly related to your hormonal changes and variations however it can be minimized by the following. Avoid oily food. Avoid any kind of high calorie food. Get dandruff treated if you have, you can keep the scalp moist with hair oil and with regular anti dandruff shampoos.

Scrub the skin gently with face wash having fine scrubbing material like apricot. Scrub the skin of your back as well so as to keep the pores of your skin open. You also can use home remedies like use of a paste made out of gram flour mixed with milk to scrub the skin. The regulation of your menstrual cycle needs the attention of a gynecologist and you may need to take hormonal pills for the same.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
