Suggest Remedy For Intermittent Diarrhea Due To Nora Virus

I have had diarrhea on and off for the last month or so after supposedly having the Nora Virus. My Doctor suggested that it became ongoing due to a newfound lactose intolerance, but having cut out all dairy from my diet there's been no change. I've been self-medicating with loperamide capsules in the hopes that it just went away, but it hasn't. It's really getting me down. What should I do?
