Hi,

If she is having only fever, and not other symptoms, we need not worry. Just give her paracetamol 3-4 times a day.

Tepid sponging is needed only incase the temperature is not coming down in 30-45 minutes of paracetamol. Keep her indoor with minimum loose cotton clothes.

Take her back to doctor if fever is not coming down in 2-3 days, she becomes lethargic or refuses to feed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam TK
