Hi,welcome to HCM.
Blood pressure fluctuations are quite common in patients in their initial stages of treatment with antihypertensive drugs. This is referred to as 'First dose hypertension'.Regular monitoring of blood pressure with slow titration of dose can help to prevent such episodes. In frequent cases of such episodes usually single antihypertensive like lisinopril is sufficient. In all such cases Hydrochlorthiazide is avoided to prevent hyponatremia and hypotension.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you
