hi there,
I am Dr. Deepak. I work in the ER where i see many cases with head injury, which includes children's. its good to see that your taking good care of your daughter. I understand your daughter has hit her self in the head and had some amount of bleeding from the mouth, due to fall.
I strongly feel that your daughter will be fine. she had a minor injury to the head, you need to keep a watch over few things.
1. if she has 2-3 episodes of vomiting
2. she can definitely sleep, but if she appears too drowsy (not waking up from her sleep)
3. She has a bump that is more then 5 cm on her head
4. she has a seizure episode, when she is not know a patient of epilepsy in the past.
5. She is complaining of too much headache even after have taken pain killer.
In these conditions it will be better that you take her to a Child specialist or to a ER.
I think the bleeding from the mouth was because of a cut in her tongue or inside of the cheek, if it has stopped bleeding now. then there is nothing to worry about. She can play around with other kids.
If the bleeding continues then your should see the ER with your child.
Thank you
Hope your child recover from the injury fast.
