Suggest Remedy For Facial Rash With A History Of Polycythemia Vera
I have had polycythemia vera for 7 years. I take hydroxyurea 1000mg daily. Just recently i have developed a rash on my face that is very red and bumpy. My doctor has asked me not to take hydroxyurea for two weeks to see if this helps. I am seeing a dermatologist is 9 days. Any thoughts

I could be an allergic reaction.
As a first line management, you can take antihistamines like Pheniramine for symptomatic relief.
If lesion persists better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
