Is Severe Muscle Pain Due To Polycythemia Vera?
I am 74 years old. I have polycythemia vera. I have developed deep muscle pain. My ldh is 503. My doctor says the pain is due to the polycythemia vera but the ldh isn t necessary the cause. please advise. Test have been done that reveal the muscle pain isn t permanent. Donna Lee Roby

Regarding your experience with muscle pain following a diagnosed polycythemia vera I am suggesting that you have a myalgia possibly from Myositis or deep venous thrombosis
In view of this please do the following test and see a physician with the result
Electromyography
Doppler scan
Meanwhile please take the following
Tablet vasoprin
Tablet nurofen
Tablet ceporex
