General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to life style changes or diet changes but work up to rule any metabolic or infective causes may be needed. If rest of blood work up is normal sugar levels as well as thyroid profile should be done. Rarely cortisol levels may be needed. Increasing caloric intake may also help to gain. Anabolic diet plans can be made with dietitian review.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
