Suggest Remedy For Dull Ache On Scrotum

hi doc i have been having a dull ache on left side of my scrotum for like month. It feels more like top part of testicle ( epididymitis). However, my ultrasound was normal, no STDs found in the urine , blood test for prostate is also normal. No protein was found in the urine. The pain or dull is chronic, usually when i am sitting. I can can feel the vein attached to the top my testicle on the left side to be a little hard in comparison to the right. I am going to see a urologist next week. But what can it possibly be.

Hello sir and welcome.

If an ultrasound did not detect any abnormalities with the testes or epididymis then this would be unlikely. There is a chance of radiating pain and so I hope an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis was also conducted. I.e. of course assuming the ultrasound conducted was for the testicles and epididymis region.

Hope this helps.

Best wishes.
