Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi. Thanks for posting your concern at HCM

Dandruff or Seborrheic dermatitis can be effectively managed with an Antidandruff lotion/shampoo e.g I prescribe 2% Ketoconazole to my patients of dandruff and instruct them to use it at least twice OR thrice weekly

Ketoconazole is usually effective. Shampoos/lotions/gels containing steroids can also be used for severe dandruff not controlled with ketoconazole.

take care
regards
