I have no history of migraines or any other type of headaches. I have had a headache for 27 days now with no relief. It is their when I wake until I go to bed. Burning, aching from top of head all the way to neck and sometimes spreads over my right side of my face..almost tingly numb feeling. CT, MRI w/contrast, MRA, lumbar punct., all negative. Being treated for occipital neuralgia by neurologist with muscle relaxer, anti-inflammatory, and heat for 7 days now with zero results. I have had demerol/phenergan injection, percocet, toradol, frova, and nothing touches the headache. I am awaiting lab results but am at a loss of what to do. I am suffering while waiting for someone to figure something out, I know it can be a process. I am not stressed, I have 2 kids I stay home and take care of and a very helpful husband, I work on homework at my own pace and that is about it. I have had other things that may be coincidence or related, I have no way of knowing. I can no longer read labels on medicine bottles which I previously could read, but I am 38 and my near vision may be changing. I felt as if something brushed against my right lower hip a couple of times and then had extreme soreness and now a numb spot about the size of a softball. About an hour after my injection of toradol and my prova my biceps became tender to the touch and then so sore I could barely use them...went away a day later. I have had some nausea, not much. I am not sensitive to light but to noise a little. I cannot concentrate but think that may be do to trying to cope with the pain for so long. Ideas?
