Suggest Remedy For Cold, Fever, Painful Jaw And Neck In A Child
My 6 year old son has had a cold for a week. Tonight he started a fever (100.3). He was complaining of his jaw hurting and then later said his neck was sore. He is not nausa, very alert. He was lying on couch watching tv- possible neck issue. He is sleeping comfortably- no headache. Any suggestions?

if your son has a sore throat that is aching from inside and it is painful while swallowing food,then he has a throat infection.but if the pain is outside and no difficulty in swallowing food then its just muscular which will go away with simple rest and painkiller.
For the infection give him anti inflammatory painkiller like paracetamol.get him to do gargles with luke warm water and pinch of salt if possible.give him boiled egg and soups.keep him warm.he might need antibiotic like amoxicillin for 5 days if the symptoms persists.consult your physician
