Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It seems like you suffer from
malabsorption due to long-term (chronic) pancreatitis and disorder in pancreatic enzyme secretion. This can be a consequence of
acute pancreatitis or
biliary pancreatitis.
In most cases, it can be regulated by medications which include insulin supplements and enzymes for digestion. Also, alcohol is forbidden in these cases and you should eat less fatty food, less sugar and more vegetables, and boiled food. Also, avoid cytotoxic medications.
If there is no improvement then surgical therapy may be considered and include drainage procedures or pancreas resection. This is the last option of course.
To evaluate it better, it would be good to do an MRI scan and
endoscopic ultrasound of pancreatic head. This will reveal possible pseudocyst or
pancreatic duct obstruction.
Kreon tablets may help to improve digestion as well as probiotics and anti-gas medications.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein
