Suggest Remedy For Burning And Irritated Skin On Tip Of Nose Causing Whiteheads
in the last 3 weeks, my skin on the tip and around my nose has been very sensitive burning and irritated. then I will get white heads after the irritation. It is a constant feeling that really does not go away.. what can i use to help the pain. When I do wash with cold water it feels a little better then it starts up all over again.
The symptoms seem to be related to a bacterial infection of the skin. I suggest to clean the area with hydrogen peroxide and cover it with an antibiotic cream such as Neosporin cream. Cool compresses can also be helpful in relieving the inflammation. In case of pain, you can also use an anti inflammatory medication such as Tylenol to relieve the pain.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
