Suggest Remedy For Abnormal Vaginal Discharge

Within the past few months after getting and IUD I ve been treated for two yeast infections and one bout of bacterial vaginosis. Since then I have had the IUD removed and been retested for any imbalance. All of my test came back normal but I still have discharge that either that extremely salty or sour, which is different than my discharge pretty-IUD. Is there anything I can do to regulate this?

Hi,

There could be a number of conditions that can increase vaginal secretions. All are not abnormal. I understand from your question that your vaginal swab test or infection screen is negative.

In that case it could be natural as we see in pregnancy, sometimes before periods or with sexual excitement. You can see a gynecologist and get yourself checked to exclude any local cause and any medical condition that predispose to increased vaginal discharge or infection.

Hope I have answered your query.
