Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history of PMS around ovulation for the last 8 months, have bloating, constipation with hard and dry stools, abdominal cramps, fatigue, spasm, nausea after meals and back pain. You are trying for a baby but not successful; wants to know whether related to deficiency of Magnesium or or IBS...
Since you have a doubt get serum magnesium test done and get appropriate treatment if there is a deficiency.
This does not look to be IBS as this is time specific.
I would advise you the following in such a case:
Get the hormonal studies during such a period when you get the maximum of the symptoms and you may then get an answer for your problems.
Have a clinical evaluation, examination by your Doctor to get a clinical diagnosis and ask for relevant investigations and then a reference for a Specialist.
I hope this answer helps you to get a proper diagnosis and a plan for treatment.
If is also possible that you are getting the mild symptoms of pseudocyesis. Get in consultation with your Gynecologist and get the proper diagnosis and treatment as required.
I find this answer helpful
