Suggest Remedy For A Bump On The Knee Caused By A Fall
I fell hard on my knee in June. There is still a hard bump that feels a little crunchy below my left kneecap. It only hurts when pressed on but is very noticeable, especially when my leg is bent. I went to an orthopedist a month ago who said to try heat. There has been no real change. He said to come back and then he would order an mri. What could this be? He thought hematoma, but it is not red or warm, just hard.
Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you probably got hematoma left knee. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself . Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. You can get x-ray to rule out fracture and MRI to rule out ligament injury. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it. I do hope that you have found something helpful. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries. Wishing you good health. Take care.
