General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to HCM...

Here you have to consult ENT surgeon for your left ear otoscopy examination with instrument called otoscope. .

The pain could be from many cause like otitis externa , otitis media , impacted wax , ear drum perforation etc....

So complete the course of antibiotic but treatment done according to examination and suspected cause ...

Ex.If impacted wax there than you might need syringing like procedure to remove wax ...
If otitis media there than antibiotic ear drops and oral antibiotic needed ....

If seems fungal infection than antifungal ear drop used ....

Take care

Advise : Ent surgeon consultation
