General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms of your wife seem to be related to an allergic reaction.

I suggest you use antihistamine medication such as Levocetirizine.

I also recommend using Calamine lotion for local treatment.

If the symptoms continue you should consult your doctor about steroid treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi,
