Suggest Remedies For Recurring Red Pink Eyes In A Toddler
Hi, This is Roopa and I have a son of 4 years old. He developed pink eyes couple of weeks ago. Applied ointment suggested by doctor and was not reducing when the course is completed. He again got it yesterday night, because of which he is having sever cold, cough and has difficulty in sleeping. Doctor initially thought it would be virus or bacteria.Last week she said it might be because of Allergies. He is on allergy medication from 5 days. Pink eyes is coming back when I stop the ointment. What is your suggestion on this?

The symptoms of the toddler seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
I suggest using steroid eye drops for local application.
I also recommend using antihistamines such as Cetirizine to relieve the symptoms.
