Suggest Remedies For Pain In Lower Left Abdomen, Sweating And Stomach Upset

I can be walking for maybe 30 minutes shopping or just strolling. My lower left side about waist high starts having sharp pains. If I do not sit down VERY soon, I start sweating and getting sick at my stomach. This has happened twice in the last two days. If I can sit down for about 5 minutes, it goes away. I go to the doctor at least once a year----have always been in good health---take no prescription drugs--very active with yard work and a VERY organized home.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It can be diverticulitis or stomach infection problem most likely.

I suggest you take rabeprazole.

Avoid intake of excess spicy foods and take green leafy vegetables and fruits more.

If no improvement in a week than ultrasonography need be done for further workup.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Parth Goswami, General & Family Physician
