General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

They could scan you to see if you have an abscess or do an endoscopy and take blood samples to assess if you are responding to the steroids.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
