Suggest Nedications For RA Other Than Plaquenil
I had to stop plaquenil for ra after 15 yrs. It has affected both eye. Have been off it 3 months and pain in hands, wrists and hips acting up. Going to rheumatologist this week. What are some alternatives meds to plaquenil. It worked well for me all these years.

There are a huge number of options but methotrexate is probably the first. Of course, aspirin-like drugs are generally also used. THEN, if methotrexate doesn't work (it is far stronger than Plaquenil) then monoclonals are generally used.
